Meet Sharlett Smith, MSW, P-LGSW

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSSW) and my Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I am currently working towards having my credential as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). My work is grounded in a deep commitment to advocacy, equity, and empowering individuals and communities.

I have a diverse work background that involves direct care to aging populations, teaching people living with disabilities how to live independently, advocating, and empowering people from marginalized groups.

The importance of family, community connection, and ethical service strongly influences my values. I bring a compassionate, culturally responsive approach to my work, informed by my passion for volunteering and years of community engagement. I also enjoy traveling, which has enriched my worldview and strengthened my dedication to an inclusive and holistic care.

With a focus on creating meaningful change, I continue to build my career with a vision of supporting diverse populations through clinical practice, advocacy, and collaborative care.
